Exciting winter refurbishments

The World of Beatrix Potter™ Attraction is closing its doors from 7 January for 4 weeks of exciting refurbishment and installation of new technology to the exhibition.   The developments include an extension to the world-famous gift shop along with new touch screen technology and High Definition film in the Virtual Walk part of the attraction revealing more enthralling archive material about the vibrant Miss Potter along with interactive fun and games for children.  As the Peter Rabbit™ brand moves forward in 2013 with a new CGI Peter Rabbit™ animation, the Attraction is ensuring that it stays relevant to Peter Rabbit™ fans of all ages.  To reflect these brand developments and the relevance that Beatrix Potter still has today, the attraction will present to visitors a high definition digital and interactive area which will show a stunning new display of Beatrix Potter’s captivating history.

Andy Poole, Chief Executive of The World of Beatrix Potter™ said: “We are looking forward to the exciting changes in the new year which we are confident will provide an even better experience for our visitors.  Here at the World of Beatrix Potter™ we are immensely proud to have brought to life Beatrix Potter’s famous stories to over 3 million people world-wide over the last 21 years.  We look forward to welcoming more people to see the classic Peter Rabbit, but also introduce visitors to the new Peter Rabbit™ animation in our fascinating new high definition Virtual World of Beatrix Potter™ exhibit. ”
