Old Laundry Theatre launches exciting 2013 season
The Old Laundry Theatre shares a building with the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction. The theatre hosts a lively annual autumn season of professional music, theatre, comedy, spoken word and film in an intimate 270 seat setting.
The 2013 season starts at the end of August with a ‘Faulty Towers’ dining experience. Highlights of the season which runs until early December include the world premiere of Victoria Wood’s BAFTA award winning TV drama Housewife, 49, three fabulous Alan Ayckbourn comedies including his latest ‘Arrivals & Departures’ on its world premiere tour, classical music from Peter Cropper & Ensemble 360, family Theatre, Folk & Roots Festival and the Cumbria Short Film Competition.
