We are potty about the Beatrix Potter anniversary coins. At the moment in our gift shop we have dear Mrs Tiggy-winkle silver proof 50p coins retailing at £55. They’re absolutely gorgeous!

The series of Royal Mint coins celebrateshe life and works of the inspirational author and illustrator, Beatrix Potter.  Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, the conscientious hedgehog is shown in her washerwoman’s dress and petticoats on this 50p coin – the first official United Kingdom coin to feature Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle.

This coin has been struck in sterling silver, finished to our finest Proof standard. Royal Mint engraver Emma Noble has brought Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle to life, with elements of her design highlighted by colour printing, reflecting Beatrix’s own watercolour illustrations. The coin is presented beautifully in a contemporary Perspex case for easy display.
