WHERE IS PETER RABBIT? TREASURE TRAIL

 100 UNIQUE CERAMIC HAND MADE EGGS HIDDEN IN THE LAKE DISTRICT!

 THE WORLD OF BEATRIX POTTER™ ATTRACTION, is giving everyone a special treat on WEDNESDAY 12 APRIL 2017 starting at 1000hrs. WHERE IS PETER RABBIT? TREASURE TRAIL is a glorious and adventurous day out for families.

Treasure seekers will be searching high and low across the whole of the Lake District, hoping to discover one of the just 100 hand-made exquisite collectable ceramic eggs, made by local artist Sue Dunne – and finders’ keepers!

The Where Is Peter Rabbit? Treasure Trail has an exciting modern twist as treasure seekers will use the interactive digital Treasure Trail map, with clues, to help them search for these exquisite eggs. The eggs will be hidden in open view in the countryside, parks, tourist attractions and public places. No digging or delving is necessary for a great day out in The Lakes! The Treasure Trail map will be continually updated throughout the day as each of the special eggs is found across The Lakes.

By taking part, in the Where Is Peter Rabbit? Treasure Trail, all the egg hunters will be helping to raise valuable funds for WaterAid, an international charity providing clean water and sanitation to some of the world’s poorest communities. All proceeds from the Where Is Peter Rabbit? Treasure Trail, will go to WaterAid – to enter all participants are asked to donate £4.00 to enable them to download the Treasure Trail map, thereby having a special day out, whilst supporting a special charity.

All of the lucky 100 winners will then arrive at THE WORLD OF BEATRIX POTTER™ ATTRACTION in Bowness-On-Windermere, with their stunning eggs, and receive another treat – free entry to the Attraction!

And it doesn’t stop there, once at THE WORLD OF BEATRIX POTTER™ ATTRACTION, the 100 owners of the unique eggs, will find out if their corresponding number egg belongs to another prize! Local businesses, attractions and hotels have donated fantastic packages for ten lucky Peter Rabbit egg winners. Throughout 2017, THE WORLD OF BEATRIX POTTER™ ATTRACTION will be staging special events, bringing children’s literature to life at their magical world in the heart of the Lake District.
