Charity screening of Peter Rabbit movie raises thousands

We are delighted to report that the World of Beatrix Potter Attraction ticket sales for the charity preview of the new Peter Rabbit Movie earlier this month raised a grand total of £2192.

The money will be divided between two local charities – the Bendrigg Trust and the Association for the Independence of the Disabled.

Bendrigg Trust Principal Nick Liley said:  ‘The Bendrigg Trust is a specialist outdoor centre providing people with disabilities with life-changing experiences. As a small charity, we heavily rely on the generosity of organisations like The World of Beatrix PotterAttraction as well as members of the local community to provide the services we do.  I’d like to say a huge thank you to The World of Beatrix Potter for donating their proceeds of their recent Peter Rabbit Premiere to the Bendrigg Trust and for supporting our cause of enabling children with disabilities to have their own adventures in the great outdoors!’
